Raffle for Nick Reed | Cornhole Tournament

In our quest to provide an all-day experience for all in attendance, we will be adding events during the show to entertain. Below is all the events we will be hosting throughout the day!

GermanAutoBash Raffle Benefitting Nick Reed (aka Overspun)

As some may or may not know, Nick Reed, known as Overspun on Audizine, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL for short). The community as a whole has banded together to support Nick in his fight against the disease through a raffle and TShirt sales on AudiZine, in addition to the countless events that will be helping him. GermanAutoBASH is proud to include its name on that list, and will be doing so through a raffle during the show. We have set up with Nick's family that 100% of all proceeds generated from the raffle will go directly to Nick and his family to help them out in whatever way possible.

The GermanAutoBASH staff will be hard at work gathering items we can raffle off, from gift cards to car parts, and most likely right up to the day of the show. The more items we have to raffle off, the more money we'll be able to generate for Nick!

Below are some details regarding the raffle. Please keep an eye on this as the details are subject to change!

Raffle tickets will be $1 per ticket, $5 for six (6) tickets, and $10 for fifteen (15) tickets
Ticket purchases will be held throughout the day
Raffle winners will be announced prior to the show winners announcements
Donations to Nick's cause, aside from raffle ticket sales, are welcome and encouraged!

Cornhole Tournament

New for 2010 is the Cornhole Tournament. This tournament is exactly what you think it is; 2-man teams playing one another in a tournament bracket-style event. We will provide all boards and bags for players to allow for a consistent and fair competition setting. We will also have a custom set of cornhole boards made for the tournament which will be played on during the final round.

Here are the tournament details. More info is slated to come soon including photo renders of the tournament boards.

Tournament is set up as a standard bracket-style event
Each team consists of 2 players, $5 per team to enter tournament
Rules will be official Cornhole Rules as set by the ACA (American Cornhole Association)
Tournament will begin at 2:00 PM and continue until a winning team has been determined
Registration for each team will be held the day of the show, ending approximately 1/2 hour prior to tournament start
Winners will be presented with Tournament Board and an undisclosed (yet!) amount of cash prior to the show winners announcements
Tournament is single-elimination, first to 21
